1) Its tedious to get experience. I thought I had played for 15 hours... turns out it was only 4 hours.
2) Look down, your character could drown. (personal experience)
3) rodents are good for experience for first level characters in West Freeport.
As for the gold token: My warrior character never got one. My ranger character got one. I guessed to sell it to the general supplies NPC (I don't remember the name). The tutorial didn't say to. Turns out its worth more than one gold. ( The gold token not showing up appears to be fixed now...) The gold token is no longer given by the banker in Gloomingdeep.
Now I'll have to check various web pages to find out how my ranger is to get experience, because the head ranger near Qeynos wont reply when I asked about the keywords [Sabertooths]. Addendum: I decided to delete my ranger and barbarian characters, done.
My warrior's first kills outside the tutorial.
