Aug 10: unknown date: my Impressions of EQ: page 10 (2004)


More fishing...

I've decided to go ahead and put character info up...

But first, some strange events...

I had a character on Plane of Knowledge recently. I had afk up and was sitting. From the character's gear, it seems obvious to me warrior was it. I don't think I had anonymous activated.

I left my room, and when I got back, I found the character had a magic wand...

Well, it said no drop and use meant a drop of 450 hp and an increase in around 300 mana. If I had used it, and it did say warrior in the description, it would have killed my character. That character had less than 200 hp. What did I do with it ? Ya know that little 'destroy' button ? I used it.

I did ask around... this used to be a 'joke' on newbies. Give them this item, they try to use it, character dies. Its fixed now to not harm the newbie characters. Or so I've been told.
