There are stil paid accounts. For the original $14.99, you keep everything.

04/11: Mercs so far


April 10, 2009.

I have been using Mercs, introduced in the newest expansion, to assist my solo characters.

I finally got Shaktah to 55th level ranger.

Noticed that the Mercenaries have to learn. Getting them to do things like heal for lots of hit points takes some doing. One of my charactweras had to die before the merc they hired would heal for thousands of hit points. Before then it was just 150-180 hit points, with the character taking 50-280 hit points per attack.

04/05: April, 2009

Back in the game. I like the new Mercs with the new expansion Seeds of Destruction. Healers and Warriors is the only character classes available at this time. Hired for a fee, renew every 15 minutes for a lower fee. No cost to the player character up to about level 14.


I decided to take my 54th level Ranger back to Forgotten Halls as the last time I went there solo, my character got stomped.


Arrived in Forgotten Halls, unsuspended my healer Merc. Found dark blue, white and yellow /con rats. The rats hit for 144 hit points, bite for 37 hit points. Take was 12-17 pl;atinum each rat. Average about 13-14. The 17 platinum only happened once.


Then I took my character over to an area of FH that has rats, bats, and earthen rejects. The rejects are kind of like golems.


I am not sure why, but all of a sudden all of the rats, bats, and rejects started attacking. I have never seen them pile on like that before.


I got my character out, went back to Guild Lobby.

11/09: no updates

I haven't updated my Everquest blog as I am not presently playing.

I will likely return to play in 2009.

The new expansion has Mercs, fighters and healers, that could be interesting.

08/18: working on the category listing

So, the category listing on 1024px might disappear from time to time as I work on the bugs. I wont touch the other skins until I figure out how to use the plugin I am working with.

Later:

All skins in the skin chooser should now have 'click on a sub-category and you will only see those items in the sub-category' all fixed.

Ah, skin blue needs some work.

Even later:

I believe I have the bugs out of blue.
